Great photo! I love the composition, especially the vanishing point position. It would have been a great photo even without the IR, but with it it's spectacular!

The only thing I'd change would be to raise the "shadow point" a little more. Well done!

I go out, point my camera at things, and press buttons. Well, it's not that simple. Still, I don't know a lot of the terminology.

So: what, exactly, is the "shadow point".
:iconstarfireproductions:
That's my made up language for... uh, "black point" or the point at which things are black. I'm sure Adobe have a fancy word for it.

If you raise the "black/shadow point" then more things will be black but anything brighter will be affected less than the darker parts of the image. In photoshop it involves opening up Levels and dragging the black triangle right or selecting the black eyedropper and clicking on the colour / space you'd like to be black. :)

Whew. Erm, I always like to find a niggle with any piece of art. Your photographs are great.

Wow those clouds really blend in with the other clouds... wait a minute! Those are trees! Very cool, really makes me want to experiment with infrared film =D

what are you talking about!? There isn't any winter, snow or ice. In fact I'm sure its more of a summertime picture. Its called Infrared light.
